• The Lord’s Prayer in Satchian

  I wouldn’t normally translate a religious text, but since Alex translated the Lord’s Prayer into his conlang, I figured I’d do the same for Satchian.

  Werur dedin je, je mno æffynemus irir,
  Øza sen irir yn æffynynai.
  Zaiþrema sen śaiser.
  Siþa sen deþer yn fremriśavin
  Faze Drezzus yn faze æffynemus.
  Ser đeđar riśai cos didir toheis oþriśan;
  Hus ser didir e waimair bæteis;
  Yn didir terir je, jer ot dedir waimite, bæti;
  Hus ser didir zos crædissai lates;
  Rihus ser didir cos fnorøźaji setes.

  A friend said I should have translated Oomph’s version of the Lord’s Prayer…

  Dræba sen irir yn æffynynai., Your lie is holy.

  By the way, since Alex borrowed a couple words from Satchian, I decided to borrow a couple words from Vresk…

  beleśima, sleeping place from belezimja
  polima, pome from pjolm

  According to Alex, pjolm is any round fruit from a tree. I just limited it pomes.
